What documentation will I receive for professional development reporting?

My industry or governing body is not listed. Could your training still count?
It may. Negotiation and conflict resolution skills are relevant across a broad range of industries, professional roles, and responsibilities. Whether a program qualifies for professional development credit depends on your governing body’s requirements and its relevance to your practice.
We invite you to book a complimentary consultation to discuss your professional development objectives and explore how our programming may align with your credit requirements.
Can the training be customized to our industry, roles, and organizational needs or challenges?
Yes. Depending on the learning package selected, Negotiations Collective conducts a discovery process using approved information about participant roles, organizational terminology, operating constraints, and priority conversations. Practice materials then translate those insights into fictional, anonymized, or composite scenarios grounded in the real situations discussed during discovery.
Can negotiation and conflict resolution be taught together?
Yes. Negotiation and conflict resolution are distinct but complementary capabilities. After clarifying the audience, learning objectives, and situations participants face, Negotiations Collective can recommend a negotiation-focused, conflict-focused, or integrated learning pathway.
Can the program use our terminology, processes, and stakeholder structure?
Yes. Our discovery process considers your organization's terminology, processes, and stakeholder structure. Where supported by the selected learning package, approved elements are incorporated into examples, cases, and practice activities to create a relevant, organization-specific experience rather than off-the-shelf training.
Is the program available in person and virtually?
Both formats are available. In-person programs create a focused, collaborative classroom experience, while virtual programs use Zoom as a highly interactive learning environment designed to sustain participation, practice, and facilitator feedback.
What are the typical class sizes?
Typical cohorts range from 5 to 24 professionals. During discovery, we confirm the desired class size, learning objectives, and delivery format, then recommend an approach that supports meaningful participation and practice while fitting your organization's needs.
What feedback has Negotiations Collective received from previous client partnerships?

How much time should we allow for a training program?
Our Negotiation Fundamentals and Conflict Resolution Fundamentals pathways are each 4 hours. Negotiation Essentials, Conflict Resolution Essentials, and Advanced Negotiation & Influence are each 8 hours. We can help identify the appropriate pathway based on your team’s experience, responsibilities, and learning objectives. Program duration is a planning reference; eligible professional development credit depends on your governing body’s requirements. Explore our training options.
Does a certificate of completion guarantee professional development credit?
No. A certificate of completion provides a record of participation and can support your professional development reporting. Eligibility is determined by your governing body and, where applicable, by your assessment of the learning’s relevance to your professional practice. Review the program’s learning objectives alongside your governing body’s requirements before deciding which credit category applies.
